Abstract Submission

Abstract Deadline: Wednesday, January 15, 2014, midnight Pacific Standard Time.

To submit your abstract attach a pdf document of your abstract and email it to sherwood2014@eng.ucsd.edu. Include this text "2014 Sherwood Abstract" in the subject line of your email message. Indicate Poster or Oral at the bottom of your pdf document.

A subset of these contributed papers shall be selected by the Program Committee for oral presentation, together with three invited review papers covering topics of interest. If an oral talk request is not selected for an oral session it will be placed in a poster session. Each author requesting an oral talk will be notified by the Program Committee.

The Program Committee is responsible for accepting or rejecting contributed papers based on the relevance of the subject matter, and selecting oral contributed papers from those submitted using the skip-two-year rule. The skip-two-year rule states that a speaker cannot be selected to give an oral presentation if he or she gave a review or contributed oral presentation at either of the previous two Annual Controlled Fusion Theory Conferences. Exceptions to the skip-two-year rule can be made by 5/6 consent of the Program Committee, with the expectation that such consent would be given in only extraordinary circumstances.

The first author is expected to present the research paper. Authors are welcome to contact sherwood2014@eng.ucsd.edu with any special requests.

Postdeadline Abstract Instructions:
All abstracts received after the abstract deadline, Wednesday, January 15, will be assigned to a poster session. After January 15 a one-page abstract must be brought to the Sherwood Registration Desk by the author. Postdeadline abstracts will be posted on a designated bulletin board. These abstracts will be assigned to a poster session on-site.
