On-site payment with a credit card is acceptable. Also, on-site payment may be made with a personal check, cashiers’ check, or traveler’s check, drawn on a U.S. bank in U.S. Dollars. We do not accept purchase orders or wire transfers. Registration Cancellation Policy Requests for registration cancellation must be emailed to sherwood2014@eng.ucsd.edu by 3:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time on Wednesday, March 19, 2014; include this text “2014 Sherwood Cancellation” in the subject line of your email message. No registration refunds will be granted if a registrant fails to cancel in writing by March 19. All refunds will be assessed a $50 cancellation fee regardless of the reason for cancelling. Visa information is for non-United States citizens/residents traveling to the United States for attendance at Sherwood 2014. If you plan other visits, such as business or vacation trips before or after Sherwood, this information may not be appropriate for your plans.Please note that this information is given in good faith but regulations may change. The only authoritative sources of information about visas to the United States are U.S. Government websites. For example U.S. Visa Policy, the Visa Waiver Program (VWP), and the Visa Wait Times on the U.S. Department of State website. No assurances regarding the issuance of visas can be given in advance. Therefore, final travel plans or the purchase of a non-refundable ticket should not be made until a visa has been issued.
